Service Description

Book a Reading Cushion Workshop and learn to make your very own reading cushion. Ergonomically shaped to fit comfortably behind your neck or across your lap to rest your book on whilst you're reading, what book will you be reading when you get home? Before the workshop, choose from a range of suitable fabrics and it will be ready for you to sew up on the day. No experience is necessary as all guests will be taught the skills they need on the day.  Please allow 2 hours to construct your reading cushion. First, you will spend some time familiarising yourself with the sewing machine before being guided through the project with a fully qualified and experienced sewing teacher. Those with more experience may complete their cushion quicker, and some people may require a little extra time. The minimum age for all workshop participants is 8 but there is no maximum age. If they're ready and willing to join in, they will have a great time. You will take away with you the instructions and access to the digital pattern to make more at home, if you wish.
